Girls' Lil Freckles shows her moves with "Dancing on the D"

To paraphrase a recent interview with Killer Mike of Run the Jewels fame, "Williamsburg, a place which is to hipsters what Mecca is to Muslims where women with Woody Allen glasses and fat asses ride bikes everywhere." So is the scene for Glasslands Gallery and if you're a fan of the HBO series Girls, you probably caught Lil Freckles doing her thing on the most recent episode. A breezy jam with laughable, lighthearted lyrics–after you hear the chorus, it'll be stuck in your head for days– "Dancing On the D" doesn't aspire to be more than it actually is with its tongue in cheek themes, as Lil Frexxx could very well put most of today's rappers to shame with her brand of sweet and enjoyable rhymes over this laid back, horn supported beat. Check it out and keep your eyes peeled for her upcoming mixtape, Plan B, as she uses her pen skills to help develop the script for the 4th season.
