As with all things Daft Punk, Random Access Memories dropped with high emotions. Some fans bemoaned the release, questioning why the dance gods forsook their legendary club roots. Others heralded the release as a rebirth of true dance music, an album that stretched much farther back than Homework or Discovery. Interestingly enough though, one of the most downtempo, least club-ready tracks ended up being my favorite. "Instant Crush" stole many hearts with Julian Casablanca's muted vocals and the simple, but powerful guitar lines. Today, Daft Punk shared the video for the track, a tragic love tale of two museum mannequins who meet their end together. Interesting? Yes. Daft Punk? Yes.
