When the early 2000's rolled around, and R&B went through a phase of being at the forefront of the public eye, there was one hit that I will always remember. Everyone in my school had it on their cell phones as a ringtone, and it had arguably one of the most memorable choruses of any R&B track since 2004. The song in question was Mario Winans classic tale of heartbreak, "I Don't Wanna Know". Arguably the biggest solo hit that Winans had during his career, "I Don't Wanna Know" was a track that hit the top of the charts in the UK, whilst it stayed at number two in the U.S for eight weeks straight.

Today we have a very special re-make of that classic R&B jam, from UK bass music dons Star One. The Wilson brothers are no strangers to the crew here at EARMILK, having graced our pages previously when they sat down with us a few months ago and also the many dope tracks they've produced in 2013 so far. Now the British duo are back with their very own re-make of "I Don't Wanna Know", which features the supremely talented Juliette Ashby on vocal duties. The boys have thrown their own bass washed touch onto the track, with a pumping garage beat underneath some cleverly pitched vocals that give the track those old school UK garage flavours.
