Flight Facilities – "Clair De Lune" (Feat. Christine Hoberg) (Them Jeans Edit) [Download]

After the initial success of Australian duo Flight Facilities' track "Clair De Lune" that featured  Brooklyn-based singer/ composer Christine Hoberg, many of us were left wondering what would come next. The buzz that led to honorary chartings by Alicia Keys, an episode feature on Grey's Anatomy, and a gold plaque in Australia couldn't possibly be a "one and done" project. And while there hasn't been any confirmation for further projects (that we know of, at least), they sure bounced back with a compilation of remixes (under the Glassnote label) that stretch the original a little further.

With four different interpretations to choose from, Los Angeles producer Them Jeans serves up today's offering. Staying true to the elements of the original, this rework compresses the meat of the original version. Enhancing it with  a bit more of an "oomph",  Them Jeans seasons his soft claps  to join Hoberg's vocal voyage that lifts the track to sensational heights. Add a bit of warm synth chopping to accompany the background snares, and you've got yourself an exceptional new feel that doesn't stray from the roots of the original. Set for a digital release on October 22 with additional remixes by Motez, Crazy P, and Prins Thomas, there's much to be excited for.
