Deniro Farrar – "Death Or Forever" (Feat. Child Actor)

North Carolina's Deniro Farrar has certainly had a year to remember in 2013. The Charlotte native has been putting in work in the past nine months, releasing two mixtape/albums, The Patriarch and The Patriarch II,  both to a very warm reception from fans and critics alike. And now, to start off the month of October, he's released the brand new visuals for "Death Or Forever".

The song is taken from the second of his releases this year, The Patriarch II, and features the amazing synth-pop duo Child Actor on the hook. The hazy and hypnotic instrumental, produced by KIRA, features a flurry of grimey bass lines over the top of a trap-like drum pattern that gives the track an instant head-nodding vibe. The hypnotic feel is carried on with the eerie Child Actor hook, that fits perfectly into the backdrop KIRA has created. Farrar again comes with the heat on this track, contemplating battles fought and hard earned victories on his journey in life so far. Both his flow and lyrics are all neatly placed into "Death Or Forever", and easily make it a memorable song.

The visuals, directed by J Williams and Anthony Supreme, are as equally as atmospheric and trippy as the track itself, with visions of the solar system alongside edited images of his friends and computer generate tunnels to give a truly out of this world visual.

Farrar knows that this year has been good to him so far and he can't wait for 2014, as he explains "man this year has been crazy, this is the 3rd mixtape I've release in less than a year and we don't plan on slowing down at all. There is some exciting news coming in the next few weeks and it's only going to be bigger and better in 2014". You can download both The Patriarch and The Patriarch II for free from his Soundcloud page, and if you're feeling the projects, you can support the artist by purchasing them from his Bandcamp. Having already worked with the likes of Ryan Hemsworth and Flosstradamus, the future is looking promising for Deniro Farrar. If you're down in Atlanta this weekend at A3C or CMJ Music Marathon in New York later on in the month, be sure to check out his live show!
