Luke Taylor and Sinead McMillan, better known as Cardiff based duo Face + Heel, have released a new video for their latest track "Chipped Tooth". The minimal black and white performance depicted compliments a stark, yet honest and captivating number; its low tempo and pleasurably heavy piano loop possesses the moving simplicity of a James Blake track, providing the ideal canvas for McMillan to illuminate with her uniquely emotive voice.
Their knack for producing music that's both relaxing and scintillating has seen Face + Heel compared to the likes of The xx, as well as being dubbed 'the ones to watch' following their live Boiler Room set in April last year.
With their Chipped Tooth E.P set for release on 30th September, this is a very promising preview of what we can expect to hear from this emerging talent. While you wait for the album to drop, their brand new video can be seen below:
