Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve [Kilter]

This is your Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve. We will try to bring you one "chill" track every day for when you get home and are trying to unwind, when you reach for that glass of wine or that unlit Black & Mild, or maybe you reach for something more herbal. This track is for those times. We are just your milkmen and I'm here to make a delivery. Chill…

Kilter's take on Ben Pearce's track "What I Might Do" is dance-oriented and funky with a downtempo edge. Hailing from Pearce's album titled What I Might Do (Remixes) (released August 2 on MTA Records/Mercury Records LTD), Australia's Kilter transforms it into a tropical and synth-heavy arrangement leading to ultimate relaxation.

I was sold when I saw Kilter's live performance of another one of his chill-worthy remixes (Shapeshifter's "Shadow Boxer") heavily reminiscent of what we might expect to hear from Flume. It seems as though this Aussie can do no wrong.

Take it down a notch this evening and give "What I Might Do" a spin… or ten.
