Chances are that even if Sampha is an unfamiliar name right now, his beautifully unique voice has still reached your ears at some point. Known for being the voice behind many SBTRKT tracks, and working with Jessie Ware, as well as teaming up with Koreless for a side-project, it seems fair to say that his voice has helped various artists get their name on a higher plane.
Now it's time for Sampha himself to get some of that action, and he's doing it big with a 6 track EP titled Dual, coming out July 29th. The first track released is "Without," which was written, performed, and mixed by the young artist himself. It keeps with the typical Young Turks (the label the EP will be released on) trend of crossing minimalism and dance. While it took a bit of time for Sampha to release tracks for himself, it seems that the time spent was worth it, as "Without" is a brilliant track highlighting how special Sampha's talent truly is.
