In the heart of Kansas City, Dancefestopia boasts the reputation of the first high energy music festival of its kind in the city's history. Boasting a strong blend of EDM and hip-hop, festival-goers are provided with a multi-stage experience that promoters are promising as a full-on 'sensory experience.' Focusing on a high-energy level of production and a refreshing variety of bookings, Dancefestopia is filling the gap that many EDM-only festivals have left wide open. For rap lovers, on the agenda this year is Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller. EDM-fans get their fix as well with artists like Porter Robinson, Infected Mushroom, Adventure Club and many more.
We're providing one lucky contestant with the opportunity to share the stage with some of America's biggest DJs at Dancefestopia 2013! Record a fifteen minute minimum mix, submit it to our microsite HERE, and make sure your friends and fans cast their vote so you can move up the chart. The submission period will end August 10th and voting will close August 19th. The winner will be chosen on the basis of popularity and the expert opinions of our Dancefestopia/Earmilk judges. CONTEST DETAILS:
1. Record a live mix (15 minutes min.) that features music you might play at Dancefestopia.
2. Include bootlegs, mashups, edits, remixes, and original productions.
3. Upload your mix to Soundcloud and/or Youtube.
4. Submit the mix HERE.
Submissions for the contest are due August 10th, 2013. The voting period for the contest will end August 19th and the winner will be announced on the evening of August 19th.
The winner will be chosen on the basis of popularity and the expert opinions of our Dancefestopia/Earmilk judges.
Contest Qualifications:
-Contest open to North Americans aged 18+
-Contestants under the age of 21 may not consume ANY alcohol
-All genres are welcome for submission
