It has been quite the birthday for the Chicago native and MMG Warner Music recording artist Rockie Fresh. Not one to sit idle even on his birthday he released his latest mixtape ironically titled The Birthday Tape. So I guess we can treat it as a gift to his fans for constantly supporting him and allowing him to constantly pursue his dreams. After listening to the tape from start to finish this is undoubtably my favorite project from Rockie Fresh to date! With features from Rick Ross, Lunice, and GunPlay as well as production from Lunice, Dot Da Genius, and The Gift. This tape exudes a hip hop meets a slightly experimental electronic indie sound. However you want to categorize it I strongly suggest you take five minutes out of your day and download the tape. After all this the birthday announcements were not over Rockie also announced that he has signed his first endorsement deal with Puma! Congrats to him and his team and we look forward to what this endorsement entails.
