Unusual vocal hitches stay on repeat until you gradually accept them as a part of the beat, which builds and builds, then drops into something very different, and then alternates back to where it was just when the rhymes begin. It’s an unconventional trance sound that seems to work quite well for Rocky Business’ flow as well as for that of guest feature, Action Bronson’s, whose name is sure to attract more hype to the lesser-known rapper.
“The Cattle List” is the first release off Rocky Business’ forthcoming mixtape, July’s Joy. No word on the release date yet.
