The vices already have been strong in dance music this year, one of them being the laid-back San Francisco DJ and producer known as Viceroy. Just last week his island-infused revision of 90s classic “This Is How We Do It” soared through the Hypem charts, also racking up 85,000 plays on Soundcloud. Today he lends his talents to remix Two Door Cinema Club’s “Sun”, the second single off their most recent album, Beacon. Viceroy takes the slightly somber original and jazzes it up, lining it with a running synth line and introducing spazzy electro piano chords. Check him out with Goldroom tonight in Los Angeles.
