Kendrick Lamar – "Poetic Justice" (Feat. Drake) [Video]

Kendrick Lamar dropped his video today for “Poetic Justice” featuring Drake and some smooth Janet Jackson samples, from his album good kid, m.A.A.d city. This video takes the meaning of fatal attraction literally. A couple is seen flirting with one another amidst a crowd on a street in what looks like something straight out of Boyz n the Hood. The words “enemigo” flash on the screen (which is Spanish for enemy) and the couple is shot dead. Drake phones in his verse, but the call goes unanswered  as the phone lies with the dead couple. The words “Love Hurts” flash on the screen as the video ends with the man laying on top of the woman, both full of bullet wounds. Kendrick’s line “A fatal attraction is common, and what we have common is pain” resonates throughout this video.
