While watching David Fincher's impeccably shot black and white video for Justin Timberlake's newest Timberland produced song, "Suit & Tie", it is hard not to fall in love with the visuals. You are presented with flashing lights, plenty of backup dancers, Justin's iconic dance moves and even the star smoking. The story showcases recording and a performance of "Suit & Tie" and the fun enjoyed by Justin and Jay-Z along the way, leaving out much of the fluff that pushes many of today's pop music videos over the top.
After Justin Timberlake played Sean Parker in Fincher's "The Social Network" Justin's acting career took off and many were questioning if the pop idol would ever return to music. As it turns out David Fincher's career was molded in a similar fashion. Taking a break from directing some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters ("Fight Club", "Seven", and "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo", to name a few) Fincher returns to directing music videos from a long hiatus, which initially started his career.
