When it comes to electronic music festivals, it's second nature for one to think of Electric Daisy Carnival, or EDC for short. Hosted by Insomniac Events, and having originated as a one-day event in Los Angeles, California back in 1997 at the Shrine Expo Hall, electronic music fans have seen the expansion of EDC come to include New York, Puerto Rico, Orlando, Dallas, and a relocation from LA to Las Vegas. Well the brass at EDC have decided that it was time to grow once again, and this time the city of Chicago has been chosen to host an EDC event. Taking place during Memorial Day Weekend (May 24 to May 26) at the Chicagoland Speedway, tickets are slated to go on sale today at noon (12 P.M.) CST. With ticket options including 3-day G.A. passes, 3-day VIP packages, and, for the first time, an option to enjoy overnight camping (limited number of tickets available), there is sure to be a ticket package that fits your needs. Individual day tickets are slated to go on sale at a later date, but for now, click the link below to purchase your tickets ASAP.
