After the success of his two-track I Just Go EP released on Mad Decent/Jeffree's label, Djemba Djemba and the entire Los Angeles collective TeamSupreme are poised to drop their first full album entitled TeamSupreme: Collection 1, based on the initial idea of building a lengthy single podcast on a number of different artists' creative ideas.
These are the rules: produce a one-minute beat in one hour, using a set BPM and sample from the Notorious B.I.G. Sixty minutes later, two new tracks were created, and TeamSupreme was born. Now, TeamSupreme spans all over, from LA to New York to Colorado to Hawaii.
Be on the lookout for the full release due January 29. But for the time being, here is the first single off the album by Djemba Djemba called "Yah Pop".
