Hurricane Sandy was not nice to New York. Locals are still suffering from the aftereffects, especially residents of Red Hook, Brooklyn. As part of supporting the community, one of our favorite music venues in the lower east side of Manhattan, Pianos, is dedicating an entire evening to the victims of hurricane Sandy. They are hosting an earlier show at the Live Room with indie rock bands Cymbals Eat Guitar, Hooray For Earth, Zambri and Grooms.
The later half of the night is an EARMILK event featuring Boston's urban bass crew M|O|D and Florida's beloved female rapper Kitty Pryde. Gathered together from previous shows, Kitty will be doing a DJ set in the middle of the boys, LiL TeXaS, C.Z., Arnold and Rewrote. You know we only throw events together for a guaranteed good time but don't have enough money? Working those after hours? This is a free event late Thursday, November 29th from 12-4am so there really shouldn't be a reason to not attend. Come play for the sake of New York!
