LA's genre-bending funkmaster Harlan is back with another video, this time utilizing a medium which has fallen into neglect with the advent of/increasing viability of "CGI" animation (computers, you guys). The video is claymation, and it was directed and animated by Jessica Jule, about whom we have no information, but we'll assume she's quite the sculptor.
The track, which is a cut off of his upcoming LP, is less peppy and poppy than a lot of Harlan's music, but remains resilient in maintaining a signature sound that one doesn't typically get out of an artist this fresh.
Harlan's offering something unique and exciting and his first release, Native Son is more than fit to serve as the soundtrack to your summertime escapes.
