As polarizing as a figure Lana Del Rey may be, that has not deterred producers and DJs alike from flocking in droves to rework cuts off her debut album Born To Die. The latest remix to hit the blogosphere comes to you courtesy of Smims&Belle, the new side project of Foster the People‘s Mark Foster & Isom Innis. To get their feet wet, the DJ tandem took on Del Rey's popular hit single "Blue Jeans." Smims&Belle beef up the originally subtle track with some sonically pleasing layered production. As a cherry on top, the duo called on the spitfire Harlem femcee Azealia Banks to offer up a few bars on their first official creation.
