Today's delivery is brought to you by Shlohmo. Ever since he dropped his Vacation EP, I have had it in non stop rotation just like some of you guys. Even the remix EP is something worth multiple listens but I still find myself going back to the original. There's something to be said about Shlohmo's production as its somewhat typical of a LA producer yet, at the same time, there's something obviously unique to his particular approach. Shlohmo seems to delve more so in the ambient side and tones down the abrasiveness you might find in some similar producers. The track I'm bringing to you today is called "Rained The Whole Time" which sounds like a track that was conceived after a meetup between Aphex Twin, James Blake & Washed Out.
