The Brooklyn based duo Break Science have deemed 2012 the year to put out their second EP named Monolith Code, set for release on Pretty Lights Music. To celebrate the EP, released January 31st, they are gracing us with a delightful free track entitled "Victory" which you can download below. The EP is said to fuse all genres of music that the duo listened to as they grew and matured as producers, spanning jazz, funk, trip hop, drum breaks, dub, hip hop and glitch. From what we've heard so far the EP features typical Pretty Lights sonic basslines that skirt the lines between hip hop, soul and dubstep culminating in a genre altogether stand alone and stand out style of music. The EP is also set to be a blend of both live and programmed elements, seamlessly coming together to create something that seems seamless and organic.
