Tony Williams just dropped his latest mixtape, Some Of My Best Rappers Are Friends, and it's perfect– extensive play length, packed with loads of featured talent, and best of all, free. The whole mixtape is a message of Williams' that stresses the interdependence of R&B and hip-hop. Featuring big names like Kanye West, Big K.R.I.T., Chip tha Ripper, Freddie Gibbs, Macklemore, and a handful of others, the thing brings something to the table for everyone. If the 32 tracks seem daunting, don't let it irk you, because the thing is chock full of smooth intermittent sound bites that pull the thing together tighter than a zipper. This is the first time Tony has dropped anything in nearly a year, so give the tape a listen and enjoy!
