Lower Dens – "Brains"

Not much is said about the new album from Lower Dens but we know it is called Nootropics. Along with that, a single from Nootropics is titled "Brains". This new track shuffles like you are fast forwarding through cycles of life. "Brains" starts with a mild escalation of instrumentals, followed by murky vocals which is later shaded by different experimental machines.

Lower Dens are four indie men and Jana Hunter from Baltimore, Maryland. On Facebook, their biography says they are "dark nerds" and from the likes of Salem and Astal Eyes, they have succumbed to the genre of Witch House. There's nothing wrong with that because we have also indulged in a new EARMILK feature of Tarot Chords last week. Although, the indie rock music from Lower Dens are nothing of that category, there is a layer of dusk in their songs. Follow Lower Dens to get further updates on Noostropics. Their last status was " ANNOUNCEMENT: new album, new song, everything will change, everything changes, Do You Believe".
