With the ability to download an entire studio for immediate use (on your lap), there are thousands of popular artists out there making new singles all the time. But with this influx of bedroom producers, original songs have become more scarce. Now it seems that you finding tens of thousands of remixes by artists with increasingly more ludicrous names, leaving to you wonder: "Transexual Viking Sword Bro- what???." This weekly segment will bring you the popular remixes and the never heard of "Transexual Viking Sword Brothers" remixes of an artist's singles. From all these bedroom producers we are seeing one thing, and that is absolutely fantastic, manipulated, warped remixes.
This post has been late overdue but better late than never right? Especially if it still slaughters your eardrums and stabs your mind leaving you dead, oozing your own tainted soul. Very intense description, I'm aware. Kid Cudi has become very popular in the last couple of years all starting with his track "Day N Nite" (arguable, I know calm trolls.)
POPULAR REMIXES
Here are the most popular remixes that you will find of Kid Cudi. All of these were huge in their own time. The Crookers remix actually had an official video made for it, which, if you haven't seen, I feel sorry for you and hope you get out of whatever rock your living under. Highlights on the VIKING remix.
CHILL OUT REMIXES
Kid Cudi is not the most aggressive or happiest rapper (Lupe, Kanye, Shad, all considered happy rappers to me) so it was really hard to label these songs "Chill Out Remixes." Every song by Kid Cudi is pretty chill itself, so these just have that extra edge.
ELECTRO REMIXES
Here's your gleaming full cup of goodness for this "Artist Remixed." The Electro Thrash. Probably one of my most favourite genres for doing any post (commonly tied with dubstep remixes) just because I'm such a big fan of electro thrash, 'run over the song with a lawn mower then eat it up and yak it out' sounds. Those heavy scratching synths get me every time. Enjoy, highlights on the Afrojack Remix.
DUBSTEP REMIXES
Dub, Dub, Dub, Dub. What more could you possibly need in the world of remixes? Chillout remixes? Pfft! I could do without them, Electro remixes? Well yeah, you would probably need those remixes. Dubstep remixes can defiantly be some of the dirtiest remixes to find (especially considering the last Ellie Goulding post.)
HIDDEN REMIXES
Here are some more secret remixes that have been tucked away in the depths of hype machine. These remixes can always be real treats even if they only have less than 50 favourites on Hypem or less than 5000 views on YouTube. Enjoy, highlights on the Def One Remix.
OVERALL FAVOURITE REMIX
My overall favourite remix is the Dave Wrangler remix. The overall level of relaxation this remix sends through my body is unbelievable. Enjoy.
