Botnek are back, and with a bit of a makeover. Back in the day these two boys from Montreal made headway on the scene winning the remix contest for Felix Cartal's dusted single Skeleton. And of course, who could forget about their big bass bootleg of the last LA Riots single The Drop which quenched our thirst during it's drought of a release. This time around the duo has switched up the sound offering the crowd something more tribal and even more… banger.
All of the tracks off Plonk, their latest Discobelle release, hit harder than ever and that says a lot when they've dropped their heavy basslines. This is an awesome EP with a whole slew of originals to showcase Botnek's new sounds and a great potential for talent. And check out that cover art, hakuna ma fucking tata.
