For the past 18 months, award-winning singer-songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur Denise Marsa has been fearlessly carving out her place in the dance music world, proving that it’s never too late to pivot, reinvent, and rise. Marsa approaches music as a living, breathing extension of herself- conduit for emotion and story. Drawing from threads of her own life, she crafts a sound that evolves alongside the experiences and influences that shape her, consistently refining her signature style of “pop with purpose.”

Her artistry has led her across continents and genres, culminating in a transformative partnership with a UK remix team whose production magic has repeatedly turned her most ambitious sonic ideas into reality. Following seven consecutive Top Ten hits on the UK Music Week Commercial Pop Club Chart, this dynamic collaboration is showing no signs of slowing down. Her latest offering, “HOLE (Until Dawn Remix),” is poised to be the eighth, with additional remixes from Marsa’s upcoming album RISK + HEAL already underway. “Every remix is a new turn in our creative process,” Marsa explains. “We’re building bridges between storytelling and the dance floor—between emotion and euphoria.” Together, they create music that resonates with a world in flux, offering moments of healing, connection, and unrestrained joy amid the chaos.

In a time when uncertainty and relentless bad news can feel overwhelming, “HOLE (Until Dawn Remix)” bursts forth as a beacon of resilience and hope. Powered by the energetic craftsmanship of UK remixers Jim Sullivan and Craig Jones, the track transforms heartbreak and struggle into a celebration of liberation. Ringing guitar strums, buoyant synths, shuffling beats, and sunlit sentiment converge in a sound that feels like flinging open the windows on “the train to freedom” and breathing in a new day. Its cinematic rhythm pulses with determination, inviting listeners to join Marsa in a moment of shared recognition and release. It’s a song that doesn’t just ask you to dance- it asks you to dance through the pain, to find connection and joy in the midst of life’s chaos.

The music video elevates this experience, inviting viewers into the storied walls of The Music Inn, Manhattan’s oldest music store, a place where creativity, history, and community converge. Walking through its aisles feels like entering a world where every instrument, record, and artifact hums with energy. Marsa leads a journey down into the store’s hidden West Village basement, a secret haven where musicians, friends, family, and supporters gather to create, share, and celebrate. Joined by staff, owner Jeff Slatnick, her first NYC guitarist Frank (Francis) Bosco, and her niece Stephanie Colorado, she captures the grit, camaraderie, and enduring spirit of the music industry. Improvised jams, soft smiles, and spontaneous joy fill the frame, emphasizing that even in an increasingly daunting world, solace and inspiration are never far away. The “HOLE (Until Dawn Remix)” music video becomes more than a visual accompaniment- it is a testament to the power of music as a source of connection, a balm for the soul, and a reminder that wherever music thrives, hope and relief are always within reach.
