Some days I hop online when I wake up after a long night, search for a little new music, get disappointed and go back to sleep. Today is not one of those days.
Today, I found a new album by IDM artist WISP. I can not even explain to you how amazingly composed these songs are. It's Aphex Twin on steroids. It makes me want to strap on some metal plated armor and do battle, but in a good way. It's fantasy like, almost whimsical and light. It just dominates. I can't really say much more than that. It's so fast it will make your head spin. Especially if you're into sound design and things like that.
The album is called "The Shimmering Hour" and it was released in Richard D. James's (Aphex Twin) record label Rephlex. Listen to it. You will not be disappointed.
