Taking place on August 16-18 in Watkins Glen in upstate New York, this year's 50th Anniversary of the legendary Woodstock festival is set to feature a VERY eclectic lineup of past and present chart-topping artist. Original founder and event producer Michael Lang announced today that this year's lineup will feature performances by original 1969 festival artists like Santana, John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Sebastian, CSNY’s David Crosby, Melanie, Country Joe McDonald, and Canned Heat. But it will also offer a mix of modern indie, hip-hop and pop artists like Jay-Z, Miley Cyrus, Janelle Monae, Run the Jewels, Maggie Rogers, Gary Clark Jr., Cage the Elephant, Greta Van Fleet, Portugal the Man, the Lumineers, Bishop Briggs, Pussy Riot, Courtney Barnett, Leon Bridges, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, and many more.
