Winter Music Conference makes its return to Miami for its 36th edition next March, planting roots at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel in Downtown Miami for three days of programming aimed at both industry professionals and creators. The conference runs Tuesday, March 24 through Thursday, March 26, 2026, positioning itself as the anchor event of Miami Music Week.
The 2026 edition introduces a restructured approach with two distinct programming tracks. The Industry Track targets music business professionals, event producers, and executives with panels covering the business side of electronic music, from emerging technologies to the evolving live events landscape. The Creators Track serves DJs, producers, and content creators with gear demonstrations, artist-led workshops, and career development sessions.
WMC's new headquarters at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel doubles as the Official Miami Music Week Hotel, with the venue's rooftop pool deck hosting daily parties from 1pm to 10pm throughout the conference. The waterfront location overlooking Biscayne Bay creates a central gathering point for the week's activities, blending business networking with the social aspects that have always defined Miami Music Week.
Thursday evening closes with the inaugural Bridges for Music and International Dance Music Awards gala. Bridges for Music has built programs across Africa working with artists like Richie Hawtin, Skrillex, Martin Garrix, and Black Coffee to provide music education in underserved communities. The International Dance Music Awards, established in 1985, remain electronic music's longest-running awards platform. The gala merges both organizations' missions with award presentations, performances, and fundraising efforts. This event requires separate ticketing beyond the conference badges.
Under ULTRA Worldwide's stewardship since 2018, WMC continues operating as the industry's annual cornerstone event. The conference concludes Thursday just as Ultra Music Festival's 26th anniversary edition begins at Bayfront Park, running March 27-29. This creates a continuous five-day span connecting the conference's educational programming with the festival's performances.
