On Sunday afternoon, Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot multiple times outside of his clothing company, Marathon Store, in Hyde Park. At only age 33, he was pronounced dead at the hospital according to NBC News reports.
He was one of three people shot at the incident.
Victory Lap, his debut album after previously releasing 12 mixtapes, was nominated for Best Rap Album at this year's Grammy Awards. Hussle was also heavily involved in his community in Crenshaw. He invested in opening up a co-working space called Vector 90, for local young technology entrepreneurs and a spot to take STEM classes.
Hussle was a father of two children. He and actress Lauren London have been dating since 2013 and have a child together.
Many friends and notable celebrities have publicly shared out their condolences and support to his family.

Chris Ramirez of LAPD's media correspondent announced that there is one male suspect of the shooting remaining at large. The story is still developing.
