After years of uncertainty for London's venues and nightlife culture, 2018 saw a surge in new clubs and creative spaces cropping up all over the capital. One of these spaces was FOLD – the 24 hour, 600-capacity club nestled in the Canning Town area of East London.
Boasting a first season lineup sheet with names including Eclair Fifi, DMX Krew and Saoirse, and parties from Drumcode and Half Baked, FOLD have now announced the DJs heading to the no-phones venue for the first run of parties in 2019.
Esteemed techno label Children Of Tomorrow takeover FOLD for the first party this weekend, with label co-founder Arnaud Le Texier bringing family in the form of Zadig, Tensal and Antonio De Angelis. 26th Jan will see a party curated by Cartulis Day & Trelik, with a FOLD Sunday locked in on the 3rd Feb courtesy of Body Hammer & FOLD residents. Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th February are two highly anticipated events with the former bringing Mitchell Street Records straight from Glasgow via Jasper James and friends, and the latter hosted by INTO THE WOODS – which will include an extended set from Petre Inspirescu.
With one outstanding 24 hour party line up including Andrea, Skee Mask and Zenker Brothers, an intimate Max Cooper performance and Northern Electrics also set to descend on the industrial space up until the end of March, FOLD are ensuring London is at the forefront of providing authentic and atmospheric line ups across the board.
