Albuquerque-hailing talent KOTA! Has set herself up as an eclectic and prodigious talent with her inimitable grunge-meets-pop style. With an anthemic musicality that blossomed at a young age, the rising talent is all set to unleash her debut album in the months ahead.
Immersed in creativity from a young age, KOTA! was penning songs by the age of five and recording music in a family friend’s recording studio in her hometown by age nine. This early start marked the beginning of a lifelong journey in music.
The journey has been enriched along the way by many significant moments: from learning piano and guitar as a teenager, to attending the Hollywood Pop Academy for four years, to playing for numerous garage bands during her early years, and to performing a particularly special gig at a National Alliance of Mental Illness Conference to over 500 people.
Having made a mark on the live stage alongside hit releases such as “Killin’ It” and “Dead Pretty,” KOTA! has built up a confident artistry that is brazen and delightful all ate once as it raises the bar for grunge-pop music.
