After dropping the teaser single "Trails" earlier this week, Maya Jane Coles unveils her grand masterpiece in form of a 24 track LP titled Take Flight. As per usual, she is hands on with everything on this project, from producing, engineering, arranging and even designing the artwork to the fancy limited USB sticks included in the deluxe album. Is there anything this lady can't do?
Take Flight is an immensely dense project that really displays Maya's unbridled talents behind the boards and even as a performer. Features include Chelou, ‘We Fell To Earth’ singer Wendy Rae Fowler and GAPS.
To date, Maya has played in over 40 countries worldwide, released mix compilations for DJ Kicks and Fabric Live, been sampled on Nicki Minaj’s mega hit “Truffle Butter” as well as remixing artists from The XX, Bonobo and Little Dragon through to Florence & The Machine, Sam Smith and Ella Fitzgerald.
