It’s April, and that means we’re approaching the release of Gorillaz’s first album release in nearly six years, seven if you only count studio albums. After previewing four songs from Humanz earlier this month, we’ve seen the star power flocking to the project. Musically, so far it’s been D.R.A.M., Vince Staples and Popcaan. And now, we’re beginning to see the pending full experiential moment that the debut of Humanz will entail.
Gorillaz has partnered with hi-fi audio purveyors Sonos to provide a unique album listening experience at The Spirit House. Appearing in three cities, it will provide an audio-visual way to experience both Humanz and Sonos’s latest speaker – the PLAYBASE. Lighter and smaller than its PLAYBAR, PLAYBASE ties the Sonos sound system together with your TV.
The Spirit House will hit New York, Berlin and Amsterdam throughout the month. Entry is free and you can register to attend here.
