Belgian producer Mugwump just announced the branching of his label – Subfield – set to run under !K7's Label Services. He is focusing on making the label an official platform for his music and those within his inner circle stating that the label will, "will help to strengthen and truly showcase the diversity of the Mugwump sound while also venturing into further music areas, and bringing new artists with me in the process".
In celebration of this new chapter, Mugwump plans on throwing proper label nights already readied in cities like Brussels and Paris for the summer. Plans for more label night parties are in the works, but nothing official has been added just yet.
The label's first release will be Mugwump's own Interluudes EP that feature both a vinyl and digital issue date (September 22nd is the official 12-inch dispatch date). The release features three Mugwump tracks that vary from psychedelic dub notions to bleepy techno interpretations showcasing proper range in style.
