Manchester- based producer, Matt Cutler – also known as Lone – just released his next full-length LP today, Reality Testing. Imprinted on the renowned Belgian label, R&S, Cutler already stated the deep rooted influence Detroit techno and Chicago house had on the record. Accompanying the release is a phenomenal mix Lone compiled for Resident Advisor's podcast series. Landing the site's 420th catalog, Cutler disclaims this mix as an index of tracks that influenced his newest record. With a beginning that ventures into his hip-hop influences and then streamlines into an upbeat house-jangled second-half, listening to this beforehand actually stabilizes more sense into the context of the album.
