Reyka Vodka is running a contest for two lucky bands to snag an all expense paid trip to Iceland, to party, drink vodka, and jam on the stages at the Airwaves Music Festival. Highlights of the trip include VIP access to the festival each day, a special tour of Sigur Rós’ studio where they have recorded most of their albums, and of course, an exploration of the geothermal wonders of Reykjavík. The festival will take place on October 30th and runs till November 3rd. The lineup includes the likes of AlunaGeorge, Yo La Tengo, We Are Wolves, San Fermin, Kajak and many more.
HOW TO ENTER: Reyka asks that prospective bands, musicians and DJs submit up to three of their own songs via Reyka’s entry page on Grooveshark (https://grooveshark.com/reykabands) between August 1st – 19th. A panel of judges, hand-picked by Reyka vodka and Iceland Airwaves, will then select contest winners based solely on skill and the inventiveness of their music making.
