The legendary Verboten party returns to Brooklyn again on July 27th. Continuing their highly anticipated StageONE series with a second installment, Somewhere in BKN, the event will feature performances by electronic music legends  Luciano and Carl Craig performing a special back-to-back set with Moodymann and Agoria. All summer long Verboten will bring StageONE’s outdoor stage with world-class DJ lineups, artisanal food vendors, games and much more to the scenic Williamsburg, Brooklyn waterfront.

The event originally inspired by Mad Mike Bank's legendary record store Somewhere in Detroit, fellow Detroit citizen Carl Craig designed the "Somewhere in…" events as one-off parties– where the location is irrelevant; what matters is the music, the sound, the music again and the collective journey it takes us on.

This Brooklyn edition, Somewhere in BKN, showcases the Verboten debut of Cadenza Records head Luciano, traveling in from his renowned 'Luciano and Friends' summer residency at hot spot Ushuaia Ibiza. Luciano brings his massive house sound for a back-to-back set with Carl Craig, the GRAMMY-nominated global techno icon whose latest album, an installment for Ministry of Sound’s celebrated ‘Masterpiece’ 3xCD compilation series, delves into the mind and inspirations of this visionary artist. Somewhere in BKN also showcases the legendary Detroit techno/house music veteran Moodymann, whose recently released track “Some Mo” is gaining worldwide attention (avail as free download), on the heels of his latest 7-track record, entitled 'ABCD', available exclusively on vinyl through his own label, Mahogoni/KDJ. Rounding out the talent is French sound pioneer Agoria, who recently released his lauded Rinse.FM mix recorded in London earlier this month (listen here).

The StageONE event series produced in association with Highline Ballroom and Mad Dog Presents LLC, is sponsored by Belvedere,Moet, Jameson, Avión Tequila, Heineken, Sixpoint, Red Bull, and Bedford Slim’s Vapourette. A VIP section hosted by nightclub connoisseurs Provocateur will also be available, and includes expedited entry, prime viewing, couch seating, hostess, VIP bathrooms, and full liquor bar.
