Joining the likes of Drake and Nicki Minaj, it was announced this afternoon that Paris Hilton, the actress and socialite who gained widespread frame from her role in The Simple Life, has joined Cash Money Records. Although the label has primarily focused on rap music, Hilton plans to diversify the company by introducing her unique brand of "house music"; the work will be "…a lot different than my first album" reported Showbiz 411. Paris plans to features the musical stylings of Lil Wayne, as well as Dutch EDM icon Afrojack for the new project. Will Hilton's music be the catalyst for a musical renaissance? Will it be the next "African Child"? Only time will tell as we wait on the edge of our seats.
