BEMF is off to a good start, we kicked things off with Skream and his SKREAMIzM Pre-Party on Thursday at Brooklyn's OUTPUT. Last night we bounced around and got to see the likes of everyone from the underground sounds of Lunice, the fresh flow of Rockie Fresh, the Jersey Club King DJ Sliink, to the house music vet John Digweed. But we're just getting started, we still have Girraffage, Tensnake, Pete Tong, Manik, Kastle, Kaytranda, and XXXY, just to name a few. (Full Lineup + Tickets).
Friday was owned by hip-hop, Saturday will be given to house music, and on Sunday Nottinghamshire born Darren Williams aka Star Slinger will bring it all back home with the genreless and effortlessly grooving sounds. Star Slinger left us with one of the freshest mixes we heard, from music by Big Pun, Lxury, and London Grammar, giving us a little taste of what to expect tomorrow night.
