One might not expect being a gentleman and also being part of a dub club to mix too well. Remove those fears and open your minds because they do, in fact, make quite the combination. Gentleman's Dub Club are set to release their new EP Open Your Eyes on March 26th and play their launch party at the legendary 100 club in London on March 6th. We managed to get hold of an exclusive stream of the entire EP, which includes vocal talents from P Money, and remixes from Ruckspin, Tymer and Vibronics.
Their sound is a delicious fusion of dubbed out, slightly reggae tinged basslines, live ska horns, and UK Bass and grime culture. Their lyrics reek of social poetry and mischevious situations but keep an uplifting feel throughout the EP. The remixers kit the tracks out for dance floor fun and add pace, heavy bass, and a dance vibe that will get the skankers and the ravers out in equal quantities.
