With another two tracks that revel in style and sincerity, Seattle born, L.A based singer UMI returns with some incredible news.
UMI is on a hot streak and we're all in for the ride. After releasing a handful of tracks throughout the year, fans have been anticipating an album from the R&B singer and UMI did not disappoint. "SOMEWHERE NEW" and "WHAT NOW" are the latest two to tease the upcoming people stories, out later this year on August 22nd via Epic Records.
The two offer a taste of UMI's sensational blending of emotions into songwriting, but from different angles. "SOMEWHERE NEW" tackles the sentimentality from a lower mood while "WHAT NOW" offers insight with a little more of an upbeat kick, the two resulting in a casual, yet enjoyable listening experience.
The Eric Nguyen directed video accompanying "SOMEWHERE NEW" adds an extra layer to the world UMI is building and offers an additional mode of excitement to an already jam packed rollout.
