Ry Hill is on the brink of releasing his debut album, "Death by Distraction," and he's offering a glimpse into its allure with his latest single, "My Own". This track is a mesmerizing blend of moody pop and electronic elements that promises to ensnare listeners from the outset. With its infectious hooks and captivating melodies, "My Own" showcases Hill's adeptness at crafting music that transcends genre boundaries, delivering a sonic experience that's both immersive and unforgettable.

Hill's musical journey began in Los Angeles before he found himself making waves in Brooklyn's vibrant club scene. It was in 2016 that he first caught the attention of music enthusiasts with his remixes on SoundCloud, gradually establishing himself as a noteworthy presence in the electronic music landscape. His distinct "indie house" sound, characterized by its infectious rhythms and emotive undertones, has garnered him a dedicated following and propelled him onto the radar of industry tastemakers.

Following the success of his label-backed single, "Ascension," released via Ibiza's Haustronaut Recordings in February 2023, Hill's ascent to prominence has only accelerated. Now, with a spot on the esteemed roster of FRNDS MGMT, alongside luminaries like Alison Wonderland and Crooked Colours, he's poised to make an even greater impact on the global stage.

"My Own" joins a roster of previously released tracks from "Death by Distraction," including "Lost In My Sentiments," "Otherside," "Distracted," and "In Touch." Each song serves as a testament to Hill's artistry and versatility as a musician, offering listeners a multifaceted exploration of sound and emotion.

In a statement about "My Own," Hill reflects on its creation, expressing surprise at its evolution from a standalone track to a pivotal inclusion on his debut album. He notes the track's poignant lyrics and spine-tingling synth hits, emphasizing its resonance with both himself and his audience. With its impending release, "My Own" signals yet another milestone in Ry Hill's musical journey, paving the way for what promises to be an electrifying debut album.
