NY pianist and singer/songwriter Olive Louise has just released her latest captivating single. Called "Swallow the Ocean", the irresistible baroque pop track follows her three autobiographical song EP 275 Kings Point Road shared earlier this year.

With "Swallow the Ocean", Olive Louise highlights the highly relatable narrative of running away from and fighting a deep romantic intimacy. Often we try to push someone away in love before they can reject us and Olive Louise discusses that tragic and destructive pattern. Lyrics including, "It isn't fair / that I can't love / the way that you deserve / I'm like an ocean / I'm calm and I'm fierce / tearing down whatevers near," show that she is aware of her avoidance and she knows the object of her affection deserves more. Musically, "Swallow The Ocean" is an epic and cinematic affair complete with Olive Louise's angelic vocals singing dreamy melodies over wavy sonic landscapes. Hypnotic and swirling sounds full of nostalgic keys and brooding drums make for a must listen.

Olive Louise teamed up with producer Marky Style (Royal & the Serpent) for her latest musical offering. The classically trained songwriter has been making waves with her vulnerable and imaginative blend of indie pop, whimsical folk and baroque pop. "Swallow The Ocean" is yet another standout release. Take a listen to the new track now and share it on your favorite playlist.
