SwaVay drops highly anticipated visual for “FACES” [VIDEO]

Atlanta artist SwaVay channels romance on soulful new single, “FACES.” The accompanying music video follows him on a mischievous date night with his leading lady. Despite the long awaited clearing of the Knxwledge sample, the track proves to be worth the wait.

“FACES” has a classic neo soul sound equipped with jazz notes and a strong R&B rhythm. The artist toggles between lyrical raps and vocalized harmonies. The beat is a delicate blend of mellow instrumentals and bass-infused funk. SwaVay throws a pebble at his date’s upstairs bedroom window before taking her out for a night in a gorgeous mansion.

He harmonizes, “And I'm on the way home girl, don't you worry / Doing 85, speed limit on 30 / When I get home, I'll already be naked, I'm tryna exchange f****** faces.” The track is sexy and mischievous with a playful visual to match.

SwaVay is gearing up for the release of his label debut project this September. He describes his creative process, “My album is an autobiography of what it’s like to be a young black kid from Atlanta today. It’s very vulnerable. It’s cohesive. It’s hard-hitting.” The artist has a unique sound all his own and the ambition to become one of the best of his time.

I am a digital marketer and publicist with a passion for A&R and music management. Originally from Southern California, I spent many years as a transplant in the Midwest in the St. Louis and Chicago areas. Now I am back in sunny Los Angeles. Besides my professional life, I enjoy music of all genres with a sweet spot for hip-hop/rap. I love my west coast rap and all things Tupac, Kendrick, Nipsey, etc. I am always down to go to a show, whether the venue be the smallest hole in the wall or the largest arena.
