For West Coast-native Nyjah Huston, there’s more to life than just skateboarding. The professional skateboarder has collaborated with Arizona Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury to create Chaotic DJs. Leveraging technology, Chaotic DJs is a collection of 10,000 NFTs offering a new way to bridge the gap between virtual reality and real life.
Huston’s latest collaboration is more than just an NFT craze, but an opportunity for rising music artists to get noticed. Each of the NFTs is composed of custom, 3D realism designs of four animals including a wolf, tiger, bunnies, and gorillas. Each animal offers its only capabilities and roles within the metaverse like submitting music and being booked for performances. While NFT holders will be able to perform virtually, holders will also have access to physical events as well. Huston has partnered with clubs and festivals where the Chaotic DJs NFT can be used to access V.I.P entry and backstage entry. Holders will also be able to perform in person and remotely using their 3D character.
As part of the rollout, Chaotic DJs is also expected to develop an exclusive 15,000 sq. ft music studio in Miami, Florida. NFT holders will be able acquire studio time and will also have the chance to transform their music into an NFT.
For Huston, it’s more than just creating NFTs, it’s about really giving rising artists the opportunity to reach their goals. Beyond music performances and studio times, the skateboarder is also partnering with NYU to provide music scholarships for their music program.
