Today's delivery is brought to you by Gonjasufi. Now, describing his sound can be very difficult just because there's so much variety in everything he's done so far. But, I think the best genre that suits him would be "psychedelic" which is fitting considering he spends the other part of his time being a Yoga instructor. If you can imagine a Yogi blessing the mic after partaking in the fruits of the land then you can probably get a good idea as what to expect. So, this brings us to his latest release. Gonjasufi just recently dropped his the album MU.ZZ.LE (on WARP Records) which is a imperfect blend of hip-hop, drug-laced psychedelic sounds, trip-hop, soft rock, indie and more. There's a little something for everyone to love on this album. The track I'm bringing to you today is called "Rubberband". This track has just enough pulse, in its drum beat, to keep it from being boring yet its obviously designed to lift you to a different aural plane.
