Emerging NY rapper Warren Wint is back with a brand new cut titled "The Whole 9" that serves as his first release for 2020. He recently put out his debut Quietaskept in 2018 and is preparing for a brand new project in the coming months. "The Whole 9" sees Wint waxing lyrical and paying due respect to the boss women who “got her own s**t, that the whole 9” as he raps on the song’s chorus. For this one, he recruits the help of producers V-Notes and Othellobeats(who has worked with names such as PNB Rock, Yung Ro, Pop Smoke amongst others) who both helped craft a smooth soulful boom-bap gem for Wint's silky flow.
"The Whole 9" delivers layered lush keys, pads and glorious drum breaks while Wint flexes with an infectious flow and showcases his lyrical dexterity with a carefree attitude. He brings a unique element of bravado and wit with descriptive lyrics about his favorite type of woman on the track while keeping the listeners engaged with his dynamic flow. Lines like "…Whatever cooking in the kitchen, only thing that should smell/I love how your ear and nails done on a daily/ Told me put it out 'cos you don't want a baby…" also show some sense of humor in his rhyme schemes. The great part is Wint doesn't try to be too serious with the topic and keeps it lighthearted all the way while kicking game to the ladies.
Warren Wint is presently working on his sophomore album Father’s Favorite, which is set to be released this summer.
