Grammy award-winning artist Diplo was called to remix Carnage’s emotional single "Letting People Go" which highlighted his personal story as a first-generation immigrant. Upon hearing the original version, Diplo personally reached out to Carnage to remix the track and first debuted it during his set at Coachella to bring a splash of tech-house to the picture.
Diplo fuels the track with life through a lighthearted rhythm to comfort his listeners that their is always light at the end of the tunnel. Flowing flawlessly into the heartfelt vocals from indie pop trio Prinze George, the track features a solid tech-house beat to let the music take over your mind no matter where you are in the world. By establishing a pure connection to his listeners who have similar experiences of being a first-generation immigrant, Carnage said upon the release of the original, “the single is the most important record I have ever made." Diplo doesn't let go of the initial meaning Carnage instilled in the original track, but brings out his story into a more positive limelight by showing us that our parents sacrifices do not go unseen.
Vibe with Diplo at XS Las Vegas on June 16th and Carnage at TIME Nightclub in Costa Mesa, CA on June 28th.
