Teller Bank$ delivers his latest project "No country 4 old niggaz" with gusto. The 12 track project title pays homage to the Cohen brothers flick 2007 No Country For Old Men and also takes some inspiration from the film's motifs as well. Teller says it's mostly about "…knowing when it’s time to stop fighting certain battles, obsession, and its consequences…". Teller's gritty flow and vivid lyrics are matched by the somber, cinematic soundscapes used throughout the project. Over the length of the entire project, he dwells on his current state of affairs mixed with a little of self-deprecation laced with a whole lot of seriousness.
Currently residing in Des Moines, Iowa, the Denver, Colorado-bred musician has been putting in work for a minute now with his USX Ski Mask Clique. He is poised to return to his music career after a few tumultuous years forced him to sidetrack. "No country 4 old niggaz" serves as some sort of re-introduction and most importantly an outlet for the hip-hop artist as it was crafted during a tumultuous period of his life. His previous mixtape, 'Room 357: The Return,' will be re-released on Lil Fat Tapes this May.
